The 2025 Premio Lo Nuestro nominations have brought a refreshing shift to the Latin music scene, with Becky G and Carín León leading the pack with an impressive 10 nominations each.

Close behind are Shakira and Myke Towers with nine nods, while rising stars like Emilia, Ángela Aguilar, Grupo Frontera, and Leonardo Aguilar earned eight nominations.

For the first time in years, urban music heavyweights are noticeably absent from the top spots, signaling a growing recognition of diverse genres such as Mexican regional music, pop, and tropical sounds.

With six new categories introduced this year, the 37th edition of the awards is set to celebrate the past, present, and future of Latin music, honoring artists from a wide spectrum of styles and traditions.
