    Sir Hubert Wilkins

    Born at Mount Bryan East, South Australia, on October 31, 1888, Hubert Wilkins was the thirteenth child born to a South Australian sheep-farming family.

    As a young student, Hubert studied engineering part-time at the School of Mines in Adelaide, however his passion was photography and cinematography.
