Course Description:

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the study Islamic creed (Aqeedah) and its importance in the Islamic faith.

It covers the fundamental beliefs, such as the concept of tawheed (Oneness of Allah), Allah’s Names and Attributes (Al-Asmaa Was-Sifaat), the significance of belief in revelation, belief in the Angels, belief in Divine Destiny (Qada’ and Qadar), signs of the Last Day and the Day of Resurrection, and the nature of faith (Iman).

Students will also learn about the sources of Islamic creed, the pillars of faith, and the importance of belief in the unseen. Students will be exposed to translated primary texts in theology, allowing them to experience how creed has been taught in the Islamic world over the centuries.
